Flat and undulating, out in the country or on the edge of towns (including Toulouse, Albi and Rodez), historic courses such as Luchon which has been going since 1908, and modern courses like the one at Le Neuf de Bouysset which opened in 2013: whatever you choose, you can be sure you’ll enjoy a great game on courses that are both technical and fun.
Most of the region’s golf courses are in stunning surroundings. Examples include the Bigorre course with its 180° panorama of the Pyrenees, Auch Embats golf course designed to hug the contours of the undulating Gers vallons, and Mazamet golf course, whose fairways are lined with more than 100 different tree species.
The golf courses in Occitania / Pyrenees-Mediterranean are also renowned for being welcoming, having a lovely atmosphere and offering the best in club house hospitality. Add to the mix their noticeable peace and quiet, the lack of overcrowding and particularly reasonable fees and you can be sure they’ll suit you to a tee!
